Shop Local in Southern Maine
Where to Shop This Holiday Season
Oh, the weather outside is…a bit chilly! And, the ground is looking a little snowier than we’re used to this early in the season – even for the Northeast. But that won’t stop Mainers from a little local holiday shopping. Grab your coat and hat, slip on your boots, and explore everything that Southern Maine has to offer this time of year.
Shop Local in Southern Maine
Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday may have come and gone, but there are still plenty of sales to be had. Plus, it’s great to support local, small businesses.
Are you ready to shop locally in Southern Maine this season? If you’re looking for great places to find gifts for everyone on your list this year, Ouellet Construction recommends checking out the following local businesses:
Shop
Day’s Jewelers
Our friends at Day’s Jewelers sell some of the most stunning jewelry around. With six locations in Maine and now two in New Hampshire, there’s no shortage of options for holiday jewelry gifts this season. Ouellet Construction proudly acted as the owner’s representative for the construction of their newest location in Nashua, NH. In addition to an expansive selection of fine jewelry, they also provide a variety of services, including custom jewelry design, jewelry cleaning and inspection, repairs, engraving, and more.
Cool as a Moose
Offering three Maine locations – Portland, Brunswick, and Bar Harbor, Cool as a Moose is the coolest place to do your holiday shopping this year. Whether you’re looking for apparel, gifts, souvenirs, or sunglasses, you’ll find them all, here. You can shop for all the men, women, kids, and infants on your list in one swoop. Ouellet Construction worked on the fit-out for the Brunswick location, along with other renovations for the company. They’re a great local shop to support this holiday season.
Village Candle
Located in Wells, Maine, Village Candle is a great place to pick up gifts for friends and family. Their candles and accessories make great gifts and stocking stuffers. Plus, it’s the best-smelling – and best-looking – store in town if we do say so ourselves! Ouellet Construction helped build this retail store in conjunction with Orcutt Associates, out of Yarmouth, ME.
