In our commercial construction business, we’ve always been focused on family.

Not only are we family-founded and family-owned, we consider our staff, partners, and customers part of our extended family. Although things have changed around us for the 60+ years we’ve been in business, our focus hasn’t—we’re still building value from vision.

As we witness our community face difficult times, we’re ready to put people to work.

We’re hiring, growing, and focused on caring for the people around us. From our office staff to our project managers and contractors, it’s individuals who make up our family. We know that outside of work, our people have families who rely on them. That’s why we do our best to balance work with home life, give time off for holidays, provide insurance, IRA contributions, disability, and more. It’s important to us to make sure we take care of everyone.

We work with a number of partners and subcontractors to get each job done. Treating them like family helps us all be successful. Architects to excavators and more come together to see projects through. And we tend to keep these relationships for a long time. When we find a good partner, we work to nurture that relationship to keep it healthy and fruitful for years to come. It’s not good enough for us to just get along long enough to get the job done. We want to build our projects on a solid foundation, both literally and figuratively.

It’s not just our staff and partners that we treat like family.

We build strong relationships with our clients, too. In commercial construction, projects are a big investment of time and money. A strong relationship and trust between all parties ensure these projects go as smoothly as possible—on time, on budget, and with great results.

People who know us, and have worked with us, value our communication, organization, and integrity. It’s these principles that help us build lasting relationships throughout Southern Maine, and beyond. We value family, and family comes first at Ouellet.

We’re committed to getting our community back to work and we’re looking for a few new family members to join us. Want to learn more? Check out our Careers Page.
