In March, Ouellet Construction completed a new 17,000-squarefoot Nissan building at the Bill Dodge Auto Park in Saco.

The $3.5 million state-of-the-art structure, which houses sales, service and parts, represents an upgrade to the latest Nissan brand standards. The original Nissan building was also refurbished and is now dedicated to Kia sales and service.

“The new building is much more energy efficient,” says Stacy Dodge Chandler. “But the changes we’ve made are really about the people who matter most: our focus is on the customer experience.”

“It was another great effort by OC,” says John Mallia, general manager of the Bill Dodge Auto Group. “Keeping a project like this on schedule is virtually unheard of in my world. OC finished on time, if not ahead of time. As problems arose they were dealt with expediently, and many challenges I only heard about after they were resolved. The new building is a beauty. OC figures it out and gets it done; there is no one else we would rather work with on a project like this.”

“We’re so pleased to be expanding in Saco and we’ve received a very warm welcome from the community,” says Chandler, who with her brother, Win Dodge, is growing the business established by their father more than 40 years ago. “We’re looking forward to becoming involved in the Saco community, as we have in Brunswick and Westbrook. We love helping to make the communities in which we do business nicer places to live and work. We’re proud to be Mainers and we love working with Maine companies, like OC, who share our ideals and values.”

The Bill Dodge Auto Park in Westbrook is expanding too. By the time you read this, OC will have broken ground on a new BMW showroom and service center featuring state-of-the-art energy-efficiency and innovative touches as befit the luxury brand.
