“Ouellet Construction has earned the trust and respect of senior management and the Board of Trustees by embodying the true definition of partnership.”
Matt Haas, Assistant Vice President for Campus Services, University of New England
The first obstacle in building Featherman Hall was finding space for it on the UNE campus. It required relocating the softball field to stake out a site for this new 155-bed residence hall.
The four-story, air conditioned building combines classroom facilities with dormitory rooms. Floors are divided into two living spaces, with double rooms grouped around common areas. This arrangement provides the flexibility to accommodate convention attendees in the summer.
Featherman Hall was completed in April—four months ahead of schedule.
