When it comes to construction, it can be easy to get caught up in all the details of a big project.
From the ground up, there’s a lot going on to ensure a smooth build-out from the foundation and utilities to permits and inspections. At Ouellet, we try to keep our eye on the big picture: that our projects are for people and building communities.
Based in Southern Maine for over 60 years, we’ve been a part of the community here since we started our first project. Everyone at Ouellet and their families not only work here, but they also live here—and that means something to us. We know that every time we hire a local subcontractor or add someone to the Ouellet team, we are deepening our roots.
It’s important to us to support our community and be involved. That’s why we do more than talk the talk. We put our time and energy into local organizations like the ACE Mentor Program and Southern Maine Healthcare. By offering our time and expertise, we know we’re growing our community and making a difference.
Our projects don’t exist in some vacuum, they become important places of business, community work, and more. We’re especially proud of our work with the Independence Association, both their Adult Day Care Facility and Aging in Place renovation. Luke Ouellet also sits on their board and we sponsor a number of their events every year. Working with organizations like this reminds us of the part we play in our community.
At Ouellet, we’re looking for ways we can help those around us, both as a business and as members of the greater community. We hope you’re doing the same.
