Lead Foreman/Carpenter
A key member of our onsite team, we are looking for a lead carpenter to execute and oversee carpentry and construction on commercial projects. Our customers and subcontractors rely on us for organized, clean job sites and on-time, on-budget execution. The lead carpenter needs to be committed to those standards and holding the team accountable.
This position is eligible for a $3,000 bonus as part of the hiring package (details will be discussed during the interview and hiring process).
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7-10 years in commercial/high-end residential construction
- Located in Central, Coastal & Southern Maine
- Experience leading a small to medium-sized crew, including tools and equipment
- Understanding of basic commercial codes, means, and methods
- Located in southern Maine is a plus
- Carpentry experience is required; commercial experience is preferred but not required
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Solid interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
- Great leadership and communication skills with managers and clients
- Understand the various responsibilities involved in building processes

- Maintain confidentiality of client and business information at all times
- Understanding of drawings, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required
- Use hand/power tools safely and have the ability to train others
- Install structures and fixtures, such as wood/metal framing, windows, door frames, trim, hardware, metal stud framing
- Perform other related duties as required
